Provincial Public Finances – 2025

This report examines the fiscal situation of the province of Mendoza. It is structured in five sections. First, we will analyze the real evolution (i.e., adjusted for inflation) of provincial revenues and expenditures between 2015 and 2024. Second, we will examine the evolution of the source of revenues (provincial or national). Third, we will compare the composition of expenditures in the years of changes in government (2015, 2019, and 2024). Fourth, we will study the economic and operational results (the difference between revenues and expenditures) of the last nine years. Finally, we will assess what we can expect for 2025 based on the data available to date.
